The first graduating class of Sports Quest Institute has been very active since completing their 12 week course! Ten participants recently put into practice a church outreach program which serves children in a low income apartment complex. The participants, all volunteers from Iglesia Cristiana de Amor y Restauracion (ICAR), have planned, marketed and managed all aspects of the new program. On Sunday January 8th, 2017 the program concluded with a soccer tournament where each child received commemorative gifts from Sports Quest, and tournament winners were recognized with team awards.

The 10 week program encompassed soccer coaching, a devotional time and organized games, growing to over 50 children per event and overseen by 16 volunteers. More importantly, the Gospel was shared to children and parents, along with encouragement on how to live a life of faith. As a result many parents  committed to attend church in the future. After a short break, the program will resume and we are hopeful that additional children from other local apartment complexes will attend. We appreciate your prayers and support for the growth of this program in the future!
